How NeuraPro Was Born (and How I Learned to Code Without Being a Programmer)

From frustration to action: AI, real business, and the birth of a startup

Why Was NeuraPRO Born?

There are businesses that work. They sell, buy, move every single day.

But when a simple question comes up:

how much are you really making?

the answer isn’t so clear.

Not because the business is doing badly. But because the information isn’t available in a simple way.

In conversations with friends who run their own businesses, I saw this pattern repeat itself many times.

Hard-working people, businesses that move, real sales… but no clear way to understand what’s actually happening day to day.

A concrete case was a friend who buys and sells avocados.

The business works. He buys, sells, moves volume.

But when basic questions come up:

  • How much did you really sell last month?
  • How much stock do you have today — not on paper, but in reality?
  • How much did you earn this week after all costs?

The answer is almost always the same:

“I’d have to check.”

And that “I’d have to check” is more important than it seems.

Because it’s not a lack of work. Not a lack of sales.

It’s a lack of clarity.

Avocado business

The information exists, but it’s scattered:

  • in spreadsheets that aren’t always up to date
  • in notes or WhatsApp messages
  • in the memory of whoever runs the business

It works… until it doesn’t.

And when it stops working, the problem isn’t small:

  • you don’t know if you’re really making money
  • you don’t know where you’re losing it
  • you don’t know what decision to make

You start operating blind.

That’s where the idea for NeuraPRO was born.

Not as a complex system. Not as just another tool.

But as a simple way to answer basic business questions:

  • what’s happening
  • how much am I selling
  • how much am I really making

without depending on processes that are hard to maintain.

But there was also something more important.

Before thinking about technology, features, or artificial intelligence, I had to understand the problem well.

How producers think. What they would actually do. What they would never use.

Because you can build the best system in the world… but if it doesn’t fit the reality of the business, it’s useless.

That was the real starting point.

Not technology. Not artificial intelligence.

The problem.

👉 In the next part I explain why, even though I had the idea of using AI from the start, I decided not to begin there — and instead build a solid foundation first.

The first version

With that problem clearly in mind, I started building.

No coding experience, just determination and AI assistance — and I managed to put together the first version of NeuraPRO: a real, functional control panel, from scratch.

It’s not perfect. But it exists. And coming from someone who had never written a line of code, that’s already something.

NeuraPRO: simple control for real businesses

A cloud platform that centralizes sales, stock, and reports in real time. No spreadsheets, no complications. Built for Chilean SMBs that need clarity, not more tools.

  • 100% cloud-based, no installations
  • Accessible from any device
  • Simple and direct interface
  • Adaptable to different industries

ViaMind: the brand behind the project

In parallel with NeuraPRO, I felt the need to give a name to what I was building. Something that would represent me. That’s how ViaMind was born.

Way + mind. Future, technology, possibilities.

I’m doing all of this from Europe, in my spare time, while still working full time. It hasn’t been easy. But I have faith that this can work. And if it doesn’t, I know something else will come.

Because artificial intelligence is here to stay, and I want to be part of the change. Not just a spectator.
