Why NeuraPro Was Born
I don’t know if you’ve ever felt it, but I’ve experienced that mix of frustration and the urge to build something of my own. Something that wasn’t just for me, but could help real people. That was the seed that gave life to NeuraPro, my startup project, which started from scratch, without knowing how to code, but with an obsession to solve a real problem: helping small businesses gain clarity about what’s really happening in their operations.
I’ve always loved talking with friends about their businesses. Many of them run successful ventures: retail, construction, agriculture. I get excited seeing them grow, and even more so when I can contribute an idea or a different perspective. Sometimes that perspective is appreciated, sometimes not so much (I’m stubborn with my ideas too!). But that’s where the value lies: challenging our way of thinking to improve.
During that search, I realized something very concrete: Chile is an agricultural country, full of cycles of buying, selling, reselling… where the product moves, sometimes non-stop, until it reaches the customer’s table. But in the middle of that cycle, who really has control of the business?
My inspiration was a friend who buys and sells avocados. A profitable business, with good margins, but with many unanswered questions:
How many avocados did you sell last month?
How much real stock do you have in the warehouse?
Who did you buy the last batch from?
How much did you really earn this week?
And the answer, almost always, is: “Hmm… I’d have to check.” Because there’s no simple, fast system that gives them that information instantly.
That’s where the idea was born: What if there was an app that worked from your phone, where you could enter a sale, record a purchase, or check your stock… just by sending a message?
Not a complex system, not an endless spreadsheet. A practical tool. One that could even reply intelligently, like a personalized assistant.
So I went for it. I had never coded in my life, but I heard a phrase that stuck with me:
“Programmers’ jobs have already been replaced by AI.” Sam Altman, founder of OpenAI, said that.
I didn’t know if it was true, but I had to find out.
I opened GPT, started asking questions, generating code, downloading programs, installing dependencies… and it worked! I managed to create a control panel for NeuraPro. It wasn’t easy: with no prior experience, debugging errors or following best practices was crazy. But I learned. And I realized that with AI, you don’t need to know everything to start. You just need to start.
⚡ Spoiler: Not finished yet, but it's moving forward! Every week there's something new and fun to improve 🚀

A new chapter: AI team and discovering Cursor
After many hours working with my AI assistants, I found something that completely changed my workflow: Cursor IDE.
It was a before and after.
Everything became clearer, more visual, faster. I literally felt like a Scrum Master leading a team of three AI engineers, all working to bring my ideas to life. It’s simply amazing.
And yes, sometimes things get complicated, they lose the thread or break things that were already working. But I imagine that happens in any programmer’s life. The important thing is that the team responds, improves, and keeps moving forward.
Today, I’m still writing code with my AI assistants. NeuraPro now has validations, stock controls, VAT logic, versions for different industries, and has become a multi-company app, adaptable to businesses like:
- Bakeries
- Mini-markets
- Construction companies
- And of course, agricultural businesses
Of course, I have my fears. The fear that it won’t work, that all the effort will be for nothing. But when I think about it, I’ve already gained so much just from the journey.
ViaMind: the brand behind the project
In parallel with NeuraPro, I felt the need to create my personal brand. Something that would represent me. That’s how ViaMind was born.
I loved the name: way + mind, future, technology, possibilities. I bought the domains viamind.cl and viamindconsulting.com, and decided to focus NeuraPro on the Chilean market as a first step. I’m doing everything from Europe, in my spare time, while still working full time.
It hasn’t been easy. I’m excited but tired, with my mind divided between responsibilities, dreams, and lines of code. But I have faith. Faith that this can work. And if it doesn’t, I know something else will come. Because artificial intelligence is here to stay, and I want to be part of the change. Not just a spectator.
I’ll keep sharing my progress, ideas, mistakes, and discoveries. This blog will be my space to share. Thanks for reading this far.
