🤖 How I Use AI in My Daily Life (And Why You Should Too)

From work to family trips, artificial intelligence has become my daily copilot. I'll tell you how and why you should join this revolution.

👋 Hi, I’m Claudio, and today I want to share how AI has become my daily copilot.

I live with several virtual assistants. They’re in my phone, notebook and, above all, in my mental flow.

💼 1. At Work: Augmented Productivity

As a Technical Project Manager and Product Technical Lead, I work on projects where we deploy complex video infrastructure —transcoders, packagers, servers, multicast flows— and where team coordination is critical.

Since I started using AI, my work style changed subtly but profoundly. Here are some concrete examples:

✍️ Writing and Clarity

I usually write emails as if they were for myself: with loose ideas, tasks, risks, responsible parties, technical doubts. Then, I ask the AI:

“Improve the writing, sound like me, but without changing my words too much.”

And as if by magic, I have a clear, coherent version ready to send. Before, this took me 20 minutes. Today, 3.

🔧 Technical Support

Recently we faced a complex problem with multicast traffic and unexpected behavior between two packagers in a cluster using Cisco infrastructure. A restart caused flow drop in both nodes.

With AI, I managed to:

  • Document the behavior step by step
  • Organize logs and traffic captures
  • Draft the analysis for the team
  • Improve the mitigation runbook
  • Propose a workaround (separate ingest in different VLANs to isolate impact)

AI didn’t solve the problem, but it helped me think, communicate, and execute better. The technical work is still ours. AI is our copilot.

🚗 2. In My Personal Life: Travel and Experience Copilot

We’re in vacation season, and with my family we planned a road trip through Switzerland, France, and Germany. After reviewing Airbnb and Booking, I turned to AI for all of this:

  • Personalized daily itineraries
  • Activities for children
  • Typical food from each region
  • Estimation of tolls, fuel, and permits (like the Swiss vignette)
  • Assistance buying trains online without overpaying
  • Route stop recommendations (thanks AI for suggesting Stadtgarten Freiburg!)

It even helped me draft a to-do list before leaving.

🎵 3. Epic Events: Tomorrowland and More

I was lucky enough to attend Tomorrowland 2025. To organize myself:

  • I asked AI for a summary of each DJ
  • It created a schedule of stages and times
  • It explained the history behind the festival and each stage

Could I have done it alone? Yes. Would it have been as smooth? No.

📋 4. Project and Content Organization

In GPT I have my projects separated:

  • NeuraPRO (my SaaS platform)
  • ViaMind Journal (where you’re reading this)
  • ViaMind Consulting
  • Travel
  • Web development with Cursor IDE

Thanks to this, I maintain focus, context, and can resume any topic with a single prompt. It’s like having multiple mental desktops, organized and available.

🎮 5. Gaming with AI: From Hobby to Knowledge

I’ve been a gamer since Age of Empires II. Today I play Civilization, LoL, New World…

  • I research optimal builds
  • Analyze rivals and mechanics
  • Look for materials and farming routes

An AI that accompanies you in your games is like having a 24/7 coach. And yes, it also helps me avoid rage quit 😅.

🛠️ 6. Other Practical Uses

Property sales: with AI I designed a complete commercial strategy (texts, photos, platforms).

Instant translations: especially useful in Europe, where you go from Dutch to French to German in 200 km.

Constant learning: if something interests me, I ask AI. And it always responds (or at least tries).

🤔 Final Reflection

No, AI is not magical. Nor omniscient. Nor infallible. But it is a brutal accelerator of productivity, learning, and creativity.

New features appear every week. And the pace is dizzying. In two years, maybe they’ll have bodies and voices. Maybe we’ll discuss philosophy or architecture with them. Maybe they’ll share key decisions in our lives.

But while that happens, the advice is simple:

If you can’t beat them, join them. But do it with criteria, purpose, and curiosity.

💬 What Do You Think?

Do you already use AI in your daily life? In which areas has it helped you most? What concerns or excites you about this revolution?
